ALGONQUIN, IL (June 29, 2018) – With assistance from Realty Metrix Commercial, Love’s Travel Stops purchased two new Illinois locations in Rochelle and Hampshire.
Dave Schmidt and Linda Kost, partners of Realty Metrix Commercial, represented Love’s in the purchase of the Rochelle, IL site from seller Intermodal Capital Holdings LP. The 17.06 acre site is located at I-88 and State Route 25. Construction is expected to begin July 9, 2018.
For the Hampshire location, Schmidt represented the Henning’s Family who sold their 99 acre family farm to Love’s. The site, located at the intersection of Interstate 90 and IL Route 20, will also include an Arby’s quick-service restaurant. Construction will begin July 2018.
“We’re proud to help Love’s expand throughout Illinois,” Kost said. “Love’s will be creating new employment opportunities and sales tax revenues for both communities.”
Schmidt and Kost are currently working on several other sites for Love’s as they continue their rapid Midwest expansion.
This year Love’s plans to open more than 40 new locations and will provide thousands of new truck parking spaces.
