Algonquin Galleria Tic Rollup LLC and Realty Metrix Commercial Completes Three Transactions at The Algonquin Galleria
ALGONQUIN, IL (January 8, 2018) – With brokerage assistance from Realty Metrix Commercial, Algonquin Galleria Tic Rollup LLC completes three new transactions at The Algonquin Galleria shopping center located at the southeast corner of Randall and County Line Roads in Algonquin, IL.
Linda Kost and Dave Schmidt, partners at Realty Metrix Commercial, represented the seller, Algonquin Galleria Tic Rollup, and the buyer, Deli 4 You, in the sale of a 5.64 acre parcel. Deli 4 You plans to begin construction of their new 24,000 SF full service European grocery store in the spring of 2019. This will be the fourth Deli 4 You location in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. “We’re excited to have secured a location in Algonquin,” said the owner of Deli 4 You. “We look forward to serving the community with our Eastern European gourmet staples along with everyday essentials, an extensive deli, prepared foods and catering.”
A second transaction was completed with a 4,690 SF indoor playground catering to children ages six months to six years old, called WonderPlay & Café. Kost and Schmidt represented the landlord, Algonquin Galleria Tic Rollup LLC, and tenant, WonderPlay & Café, in this transaction. Monkia and Piotr Majchrowski, owners of WonderPlay & Cafe stated: “We are excited to be opening up a European style indoor children’s gym in Algonquin. In addition to being a fun and safe place for kids to play, we will have a café with healthy food options, a private room for birthday parties or other events, and a multilingual reading nook.” Scheduled opening is March 2019.
The third transaction is the sale of the former 6,500 SF Famous Dave’s location to restaurant owner Mike Ham. Ham will be reopening the location as Sapporo Tanoshii, a fine-dining restaurant featuring sushi and hibachi grills. Realty Metrix represented both the buyer and the seller in this transaction. “I am excited to bring our creative and unique style of sushi and hibachi to Algonquin,” said Mike Ham. Sapporo Tanoshii is set to open in February 2019.
These three transactions are helping redefine The Algonquin Galleria shopping center and will offer unique services and entertainment to the community.
